Camargo Corrêa is awarded in a contract management event

Marcelo Vicentini Marchetti, Contract Manager at Camargo Corrêa, was awarded by Associação Nacional de Gestores de Contratos (ANGC) during the 1st ANGC Award, held on September 23. Marchetti was recognized in the category Individual Recognition with the case on the work plan integrating the view of contractual management of engineers to the advisory and legal view of attorneys, bringing more predictability to risk factors of Camargo Corrêa.

The award ceremony took place during the Congresso Latino Americano de Gestão de Contratos, an annual event sponsored by ANGC. In this edition, the organization launched the challenge with three categories – Individual Recognition, Recognition for Project and Service Provider. Five criteria for evaluating and selecting the winner were used, as follows: innovation, relevance of the project to the public, easy reproduction of practice, results and effectiveness of the project and, finally, additional recognition and impact of the case.

"Although the recognition is done through an individual category, it is a work of our whole area; everyone wins. This award shows that we are on the right track. Our efforts have shown that it is possible, making us prominent in the market. It is a great gain for our department and the company", notes Marchetti.

According to Walter Freitas, President of ANGC, "the purpose of the award is to highlight the main cases in the market and, through these works, to assist in the industry's maturation. The judging panel is extremely qualified; it was consensus among all that the project presented by Camargo Corrêa not only has brought a very robust approach but also showed enough transparency, in addition to having a clear purpose".

The congress is aimed at bringing together professionals in the area, and has several attractions such as: lectures, discussion round tables, discussion panels, seminars, plenary sessions and actions of interaction among the participants to exchange experiences.
